Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience in accounting who is eager to start a career in the industry. The Junior Accountant will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, performing basic accounting tasks, and supporting the senior accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Ledger Management: Assist in maintaining the general ledger by recording and verifying financial transactions.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Support the processing of invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Help reconcile bank statements with the company’s financial records to ensure accuracy.
  • Expense Reporting: Assist in preparing and reviewing expense reports for compliance with company policies.
  • Financial Reporting: Aid in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets.
  • Support Audits: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulations.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience:  1-2 years of experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Team Player: Willingness to learn and collaborate with a team.
