Job Summary
The Travel Agent Manager oversees the daily operations of the travel agency, manages a team of travel agents, and ensures clients receive excellent service. The manager is responsible for developing travel packages, increasing sales, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management:
Supervise, train, and mentor a team of travel agents.
Set performance targets and monitor the progress of the team.
Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback to enhance performance.
Client Services:
Ensure that clients receive high-quality service and that their travel needs are met.
Handle complex client inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints efficiently.
Oversee the development of customized travel packages tailored to clients’ preferences and budgets.
Sales and Business Development:
Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase revenue.
Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the agency’s offerings.
Monitor industry trends and competitors to stay ahead in the market.
Travel Package Management:
Design and promote attractive travel packages, including flights, accommodations, tours, and other services.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers, such as airlines, hotels, and tour operators, to secure the best deals for the agency.
Ensure travel packages are competitively priced while maintaining profitability.
Operational Oversight:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the travel agency, ensuring smooth workflows and efficient processes.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and client details.
Marketing and Promotion:
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns for travel packages and services.

Budget and Financial Management:
Prepare and manage the travel agency’s budget.
